Coded by Kids Community Tech Event - South Philadelphia

To celebrate Philly Tech Week, Coded by Kids is taking over community spaces across the city to hold interactive sessions for Philadelphia residents and their families. The sessions will dedicate an hour each to the following topics:

Coding 101: Want to learn more about coding but aren’t sure where to start? Attend this session to learn basic coding concepts in a welcoming environment where questions are not only answered, but encouraged.

Meet the Philly Tech Scene: New to the Philly Tech Scene and want to learn more? This session will give attendees the inside scoop on what’s happening in the Philly tech scene and introduce them to some of the community-driven tech organizations and the services they provide.

Each session is open to all members of the community—no prior tech experience required!

Events will take place at the Strawberry Mansion Learning Center at 29th & Dauphin and at Courtyard Apartments at 4th and Washington.
