Intersection of Medicinal Cannabis and Technology

Now that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has approved the use of medical cannabis, how will the technology community react and capitalize? Please join us for a panel discussing the intersection of medicinal cannabis and technology along with an update and primer on the law. Technology companies are developing new techniques for dispensing medical cannabis and scientists are developing new technologies for calibrating and isolating certain attributes of the plant for medical use. The panel will include representatives from a company that has developed technologies for the refinement of capsules and tablets, a company that is involved in the research and development of novel new therapeutic agents, two doctors who will discuss the impact of medicinal cannabis for pain management, and a Ballard Spahr attorney who will review the current law and application process for companies in Pennsylvania.
