This entertaining event will feature presentations from film makers, musicians, visual artists and producers, providing timelines of the direct impact developing technology have had, to date, as well as visions for the future.
Stephanie Renée, Multimedia Content Mananger and WURD Program Host Over the past 16 years, Stephanie has shared her gifts on the national and international stage, and on a long list of successful recordings. Her love for the arts and a passion for education led her to several partnerships with national non-profit organizations to develop curricula in creative expression and multicultural/diversity literacy. Stephanie Keene, Stephanie is the owner of Incense, Trap, & Yoga, an apparel company. She is also the co-host of two podcasts: Good Together and The Slept on (both available on most podcast platforms). A proud graduate of Lincoln University (PA), she currently calls Philadelphia, Pennsylvania home, and she is an advocate fighting for the freedom of all people.
Ronin Ali, Ronin Ali has performed all over the world including Philadelphia, New York, Atlanta, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Italy, etc., opening up for artists such as the Fugee’s and Erykah Badu. Ronin Ali also sang background for Philadelphia’s legendary powerhouse Lady Alma; was a part of the short lived reunion of Change (which featured its lead vocalist the late, great Luther Vandross) & recorded a song with late jazz giant Mulgrew Miller. DaCosta Bayley DaCosta Bayley is a self-taught, robot obsessed illustrator who has been creating professionally since 1995 and currently works under the studio name ‘CHOCOLATE SOOP®’. His passion and philosophy are grounded in the belief that visual art must be appealing while challenging convention, be it through a toy project, an illustration, an app, or an animated feature film. DaCosta has produced designs across various media and collaborated with artists around the world, including work for major international studios and brands like Spin Master, Nintendo, Nexon, Sony, Atomic Cartoons, BRON and Hasbro.
