Pat Woods

Pat Woods is the Communications Lead at Code for Philly and a Production Systems Analyst at Taylor & Francis Publishing.

In his day job, Pat and his team use technology to help find solutions for the Taylor & Francis Journals Production Department. This often manifests itself by mediating communication problems across systems.

As the Communications Lead of Code for Philly Pat works to spread the gospel of civic technology through the lens of his local brigade. He is a strong proponent of thinking globally, but hacking locally. Pat loves connecting with new people in the thriving Philly tech community. He gets his greatest joy out of seeing people come together, coalescing around the unique skill sets of each member involved, and tackling a problems to help their community.

When he’s not working on Code for Philly projects, Pat can usually be found riding one of his bikes, volunteering at Neighborhood Bike Works, taking photos or pretending that he knows how to play his guitar.
